The Best curry I’ve ever had… Curry is an institution in the U.K. They are like pizza joints in Boston- On every corner. This was at Hot Stuff in London (Stockwell) where if you want you want you just say “feed me, i like everything” and they bring out the most impressive, delicious food- all for £15/head.

Elevenses

One of my favorite parts of the British culture is ‘Elevenses’. First of all, the name is precious…This is a snack that is similar to afternoon tea, but eaten in the morning. It might consist of some cake or biscuits (read cookies) with a cup of coffee or tea. The name refers to the time of day that it is taken: around 11 am. Basically I’m enamored by this practice because it’s clearance to eat cake before lunch- there, I said it. I think everyone should begin participating in Elevenses from here on out.
